There Are (At Least) Two Religious Zionist Camps, Not One

ט' לחודש השישי תשע"ב
Settler On Settler Violence
An evacuation clash reveals intra-settler fault lines

Yair Rosenberg, Tablet Magazine, July 27, 2012
Yesterday, the Israeli government began evacuating 33 families from illegal homes in the settlement neighborhood of Givat Ulpana. Earlier, the Israeli Supreme Court had ordered that these buildings be dismantled by July 1, and Prime Minister Netanyahu had vowed to uphold the ruling, going so far as to threaten to fire any government ministers who voted for legislation to retroactively legalize the homes.

In a classic Netanyahu balancing act, he mollified the evicted settlers by promising to build 300 new housing units in another part of the settlement deemed legal by the Supreme Court. This agreement in hand, the residents of the Ulpana homes agreed to leave peacefully
Thus, when the day of eviction arrived, settler media like Arutz 7 published “Pictures of Quiet Eviction,” depicting a relaxed, orderly transition.
But while there were no clashes between soldiers and settlers, there were violent altercations on the ground–between the majority of the settlers and a few who attempted to resist the evacuation. According to the local outlet Hakol Hayehudi (“The Jewish Voice”), infighting broke out when one family and some youths barricaded themselves inside the buildings, threatening to derail the otherwise uneventful transition. (cont.)

I guess this really shocked the Jews outside of Israel.  After all, a settler is a settler, right?

Actually, they might very well differentiate between this settler and that.

The Jews living in the Jerusalem suburb of Efrat, a mansion in Neveh Daniel, or Neveh Aliza, which looks like it was extracted out of West Los Angeles, aren't really settlers.  How could they be?  There are so well behaved, not to mention being upstanding contributors to an Israeli democratic society.

If nothing else, these Jews are referred to as the "good settlers," the ones who have legitimate rights to their towns, with their well-planned, well-pruned community centers and public gardens.

They seem not to be able to fathom that there are actually, and really always have been, two "Religious Zionist" camps: 1) The Mamlakhtim (undying state loyalists), who follow Rabbis Aviner, Druckman, and Tau (who broke off from Merkaz HaRav Kook Yeshiva, and founded Har HaMor), those who hijacked the Torah of Rav Kook, by pushing that one may only understand his Torah through his son Rav Tzvi Yehuda, and thus through these 3 rabbis.  This camp refuses to acknowledge that there are increasing numbers of irreconcilable conflicts between Israeli Law and Jewish Law.  2) Those who see how obvious it is that there are such conflicts, and that when there is a conflict, the Torah way takes precedence.  This camp knows (and expresses it most of the time) that there is no question the Torah guides us, nothing else.

The State more or less sees this as treason or sedition, and makes decisions daily on when to push this envelop, in order to paint the "settlers" in a negative, "un-Democratic," "stubborn," self-righteous, and racist manner. The secular State is desperately trying to battle the Torah world by manipulating and distorting it from within, not to mention maintaining a hold on the State rabbinate, by continuing to pay their salaries, so that they can maintain control over the masses, with and with kippoth on their heads.

Beth-El "Ulpana" Neighborhood

Beth El was a sad example of a few "popular" rabbis, with untenable, Jewish legal logic, collaborating with the State, claiming "good intentions," who played on the desire of their communities to keep their heads buried in the sand, rather than face their cognitive dissonance, and face reality already: The State of Israel, run by the minority Far Left (one segment of the Erev Rav), is not in the least bit interested in being a Jewish state, save for a few symbolic tidbits, it throws to its numbed out masses.

Let me be clear though, that when the (truly loyal to Torah) rabbis saw that they had reached the end of the futile battle, only then did they instruct the residents to accept their fate, just like at the last stand in the K'far Darom synagogue in Gaza in the summer of תשס"ה/2005. Some might, and have, compared this situation to Rabbi Yohanan smuggling himself out of a besieged Jerusalem in order to negotiate with the Romans, having realized that the battle was lost, and damage control was indicated.

Personally, I would not go that far.  Gaza was doomed from the start, due to the collaboration with the government, and the traitorous sabotage of its own constituents, of the YeSh"A Council.

Bottom line? If you're a Jew, you are suppose to follow the Torah, plain and simple, to the best of your ability.

You have to make a choice. Are you going to follow the Torah, or follow the Israeli government? It does not seem very likely, in the near future, that you will be able to get away with following both.  How the mamlakhtim will be able to stand the sudden and massive surge of cognitive dissonance pulsating through their brains, I do not know.

What we Jews must finally get our heads around is that the Western/assimilationist/exile values and sensibilities we grew with (whether in San Francisco or Borough Park) are not interchangeable with Jewish values and sensibilities.

1,700 years in exile can be pretty powerful in convincing us that the opposite is true.  But, we must snap out of it!

Now, if you think all of that is difficult to get your exile, "let's be like the goyim" mentality around, wait till I tell you that there are those of us who more Religious and Zionist than any of those calling themselves "Religious Zionists."

That's right!  You see, Zionism doesn't really exist, at least not how it was hijacked by the Ben-Gurions and the Pereses.  Nope.  You see "Zionism' is simple a part of the Torah.

Without Torah, there is no, I repeat, no justification whatsoever for "Zionism."

But, I suppose, we had better back up, and start with some more basic concepts, because I really don't think that any of you (Jews who believe that your home is in the U. S.) are ready for such a concept.

Enough Already About These So-Called "Rabbis!"

ט' לחודש השישי תשי"ב
'Rabbis For Obama' Boycott Israel And Cozy Up To Ahmadinejad
"Rabbis for Obama" includes many anti-Israel figures who support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against the Jewish state.

Rachel Hirshfeld, August 26, 2012

U.S. President Barack Obama U.S. President Barack Obama Israel news photo: Flash 90 President Obama’s re-election campaign announced last week the launch of “Rabbis for Obama,” an initiative aimed at rallying Jewish support for the president in the upcoming elections.

What has recently come to light, however, is that the list of over 600 rabbis, many of whom are Reform, Conservative and female and would thus not be considered as such by the Orthodox community, also includes many unabashedly anti-Israel figures, who align themselves with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against the Jewish state. (cont.)
I still don't understand why IsraelNN.com can't put "rabbis" in quotation marks. I've mentioned this to them many times. They claim it's for clarity's sake. So many other self-respecting journalists use this strategy. Why can't they?  Why can't The Jewish Press?

The Jerusalem Post staff seems to like the idea of Jews doing what they want.  This would explain the legitimacy it attempts to grant to anyone calling him(or her)self a "rabbi," who supports this "do what we want" attitude.  The fact that they delude themselves into thinking that what they want IS what God wants, only provides additional support for the notion that they no nothing of Torah nor Jewish Law, or that the two are even remotely related.

As to the content of the article?

The content is just so absurd on one level, and on another level it is so very sad how lost the Jews are follow these charlatans.

It is questionable whether these self-hating jokers even Jewish, you know with all the sham conversions taking place for the last several generations.

Whether wannabe epikoursim or just tinoqoth shenishba, I have serious doubts whether any them could be counted in a minyan (minimum prayer group number).

...even the men.

מי שמבין יבין

I say "wannabe," because none of them have the hakhmah of Torah that the epikoursim did 1,000 to 1,700 years ago.

And what about those identifying themselves as "Orthodox?"

Hmm...  For some reason the word "kefirah"* pops into head.  But I can't imagine why....

What's that?!  Did someone in the audience just yell the word "mahti?"**

 מי שמבין יבין

What else is there to say?

They spit in the face of HaShem, who handed some of our land back to His People in תש"ח/1948, then returned even more of our lands back to us in , when we were threatened with annihilation by the Yishma'elite enemy, the same enemy they defend over their own brothers and sisters!  But, like I said, there is a question as to whether they really are our brethren, either on a Jewish legal level, or certainly on a spiritual level.

Not only do these people know nothing of Torah, having completely confused it with Western, assimilationist, galuth (exiles) values and sensibilites.  But, they also know nothing of peace.

Peace, simply put, is when are Jews are living where they should be, in Eretz Yisrael, behaving as they should be, keeping Torah and misswoth, with those non-Jews who are not permitted to live here, not living here!

These people should be called "Rabbis For Piece."  Better yet, "Pretend Rabbis Enabling Co-Dependent Assimilated Jews To Confuse Jewish Values with Non-Jewish Values, in order to Give Away their Land."

Oh, wait a minute!

We weren't talking about "Rabbis For Peace?"  We weren't talking about "Rabbis For Human (except for Torah observant Jewish) Rights?"

We were actually talking about "Rabbis For Obama," were we?

Honestly, do such name changes and re-inventions actually register anything significant in your brains?

These supporters of "piece," "Arab rights," and "Hussein Obama" will either receive their just punishment in the World To Come, or not, seeing as they hardly know better, and thus may not be culpable for their crimes.

Yet, in the meantime, it is upon us not to stand idly by, and allow them to continue on their path of destruction, destruction of the Land of the Israel, destruction of the People of Israel, and the destruction of the Torah of Israel!

*********

*Kefirah (כפירה) = denial, as in denial of the Written Torah or Oral Torah or both.

**Mahti (מחטיא) =  one who leads others to sin.

Where Are All The Sudanese Infiltrators Coming From?

מוצש"ק פר' שופטים תשע"ב

Op-Ed: Where the Sudanese Infiltrators are Coming From

Aymenn Jawad Al-Tamimi, May 24, 2012

The new state of South Sudan has fallen into tribal chaos. Israel is suffering from the situation. When the state of South Sudan came into existence last July, with great fanfare, Israel was one of the first nations to recognize it, having provided support for South Sudanese leaders since the 1960s during the first civil war.

Indeed, in late December, Salva Kiir Mayardit - the president of South Sudan - came to Jerusalem, where he discussed the unique prospect of locating the country's embassy there. It was therefore no surprise that President Shimon Peres spoke so enthusiastically of the visit as a "moving and historic moment" for him and Israel.

Now, less than a year later, in light of Israel's plans to deport South Sudanese refugees, it is worth taking a look at how the world's youngest nation is faring. (cont.)

I'll tell you where the Sudanese refugees are coming from.

Originally, those seeking asylum found their way to Israel, attracted by the State's sense of political correctness, and desire to be a "globalist team player.

See how State President Shimon Peres slobbers kvells over compliments from goyim (non-Jews)?  Moving and historical moment?  Gimme a break!  This is the same ol' national co-dependent reactions we've been seeing for generations.  Of course, it's getting worse.  The more expression of hate toward Jews in the world, the more slobbering there is.

All of the protests against allowing the Sudanese have free reign over our country have been hushed up.  I haven't heard of any in a long.  Chances are, the Leftist handlers have incited their minyons to protest their usual causes.  You know, the ones showing support for our Yishma'elit enemy.

Giving them something to cry about, which leads them to believe that they'll be accepted as a fellow European always seems to put a sparkly into their smiles.

Meanwhile, the Sudanese no longer see us as compassionate members of the "international community."

They see us as suckers.  In Hebrew the word is פראירים (fri-erim).

There are even Sudanese who find the money to fly to Cairo, and then make the trek to Israel anyway they can.

That's supposed to be a refugee?

Furthermore, why doesn't anyone bother to ask questions such as...

"Where are all of the refugees fellow Muslims?"

"Where is the expression of merciful, Quranic justice we're always having crammed down our throats?"

...regarding those refugees who are not Muslim...

"Why should Israel be responsible for welcoming avodah zarah (foreign/forbidden practices) into its land, to receive support from its money?

...and finally...

"Wait a minute?!  Wasn't it Muslims who were behind the violence and oppression of these refugees in the first place?"

Nope.  Nobody dares asks these questions.

God And "Israeli" Arabs

ה' לחודש השישי תשע"ב
YNET: Arab Israelis 'Have Nowhere To Hide' If War Breaks Out
Shortage of shelters in Arab communities throughout Israel concerns residents amid reports of possible strike in Iran; some say will flee to relatives in territories if missiles fall

Hassan Shaalan, August 21 2012

Israel's Arabs are extremely concerned by the mounting tensions between Israel and Iran and claim that the lack of shelters in their cities will leave them exposed in case a war erupts.

According to data obtained by Ynet, nearly half of Israel's Arabs do not own gas masks, and most of them would have nowhere to hide in case Israel is attacked.(cont.)

Hmm...  So, that's how HaShem intends to take care the problem, that we refuse to deal with.

Well, actually, this wouldn't the first time Jews tried to second guess The Almighty.

But, maybe He will do something.  Or, maybe He will bring us close, expecting that His direct encouragement will inspire us to do the misswah, and finish the job.

(sigh)

One can only hope.

Rebellious "Women Of The Wall" Are At It Again

ב' לחודש השישי תשע"ב
IsraelNN.com: 'Women of the Wall' Arrested for Provocation
Police arrested three “women of the Wall’ after they violated High Court limitations and wore prayer shawls in a “Rosh Chodesh” protest.

Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu, August 19, 2012
Police arrested three “women of the Wall’ after they violated High Court limitations and wore prayer shawls in a protest marking the beginning of the Hebrew month of Elul. Police warned the women before arresting them.

The protest movement, led mostly by Reform and Conservative Jews, has campaigned against Jewish law and centuries-old customs. (cont.)

It's one thing for women to wear tallith and tefillin in private, the modest way in which RaSh"i's daughters wore tefillin to enhance their kewanna (intent).  They knew it was immodest (in more than one way) to have done so in public.

Women who do so in public, mostly do not know any better, and must be educated.

Those who do know better are rebellious women, ba'aloth gaiwah (prideful), and not at all behaving like B'noth Yisrael.  Rather they behave (...and think, and feel) like Westerners, are concerned with Western (ie. non-authentically Jewish) values and sensibilities, and possess a Western/progressive, "do what I want" attitude.

Feminism, egalitarianism, pluralism (save for perhaps minhaggim, music, and such), and even turning major decisions over to the masses to determine the will of the people by a "vote" are NOT Jewish concepts, not in the least.

"Conservative?"  "Reform?"  Translation: possibly includes those who underwent sham conversions, or whose mothers did.  In other words, this begs the question, just exactly how many of them are even Jewish?

Furthermore, these women see it as their duty and purpose to battle HaZa"L (Our Sages z"l), otherwise known to them as the "oppressive hierarchical patriarchy," who "infantilize women" and "silence the woman's voice."

Those who do not overtly spit on the words of HaZa"L, work overtime to distort them, bending them to serve their agendas.

Kol HaKavod to Tzvi for including this important, last paragraph.
Orthodox women's groups have asserted in the past that the real "Women of the Wall" are the masses of devoutly Orthodox women who pray there fervently night and day, every day - not just on Rosh Chodesh - and that they have the right to have their traditional form of prayer observed without having to deal with provocations.

Of course, the so-called "Women Of The Wall" believe that they know better than their "oppressed" sisters.

For women who claim to be righteous, they certainly are quite selfish, to say the least.

Netanyahu & Abbas: What's Wrong With This Picture?

מוצש"ק פר' ראה/ראש חודש לחודש השישי תשע"ב
YNET: PM To Abbas: Israel Will Catch Firebomb Assailants
Two days after incident that left six Palestinians wounded, Netanyahu phones Palestinian president, promises perpetrators will be brought to justice

Hassan Shaalan, August 18, 2012

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday and offered his greetings for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr. Netanyahu promised that Israel will spare no effort in bringing those behind the firebomb assault against Palestinians to justice. (cont.")
So, let me get this straight...

PM Netanyahu calls up Abbas, the financier of the 1972 kidnapping and murder of the 11 Israeli Olympians,, and promises him that the perpetrators of an attack on Arabs will be brought to justice.

Does it sound just a bit odd, that the man behind the murder of 11 Jews, 40 years ago, almost to the day, is having his tuchus kissed by the Israeli prime minister, when he himself should be behind bars, if not executed?

I suppose that Bibi didn't think it the right time nor place to dredge up the past.

The Truth About Shimon Peres,...Finally!

כ"ט לחודש החמישי תשע"ב

IsraelNN.com: Peres Under Attack For Undermining Leadership
MK Matalon (Israel Our Home Party): authority rests with Prime Minister. Source near PM: "Peres has forgotten what his job is."

Gil Ronen, August 16, 2012

President Shimon Peres is under attack for undercutting the elected government's stance on the Iranian threat. Besides stating a position that runs counter to the Prime Minister's in a television interview, he is also reported to have accused Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, in closed conversations, of "terrible irresponsibility" in the Iranian matter. (cont.)

Finally, someone else (besides me) actually noticed Prez Peres stepping out of bounds, when it comes to his apolitical role as President of the State of Israel.  I have been writing about this for years.  As president, Shimon Peres has been anything but apolitical or symbolic.  Clearly, he is calling the shots, and isn't even trying to hide it!

Yet, as you can see for yourselves, from the K'nesseth's Official Website, the role of the President of the State of Israel is hardly more than symbolic.
Basic Law: The President

Functions and powers
11. (a) The President of the State -

(1) shall sign every Law, other than a Law relating to its powers;

(2) shall take action to achieve the formation of a Government and shall receive the resignation of the Government in accordance with Law;

(3) shall receive from the Government a report on its meetings;

(4) shall accredit the diplomatic representatives of the State, shall receive the credentials of diplomatic representatives sent to Israel by foreign states, shall empower the consular representatives of the State and shall confirm the appointments of consular representatives sent to Israel by foreign states;

(5) shall sign such conventions with foreign states as have been ratified by the Knesset;

(6) shall carry out every function assigned to him by Law in connection with the appointment and removal from office of judges and other office-holder's.

(b) The President of the State shall have power to pardon offenders and to lighten penalties by the reduction or commutation thereof.

(c) The President of the State shall carry out every other function and have every other power assigned to him by Law.

What would have happened if Chaim Weitzman or Moshe Katzav crossed into the realm of politics?

It would not have been tolerated.

What?! Now, Modi'in Isn't Part Of Israel Either?

כ"ו לחודש החמישי תשע"ב

So, apparently, the European Union does not consider Modi'in and its suburbs Maccabbi'im and Re'uth to be part of Israel, and will be treating exports from the area the same as it treats exports from the Golan Heights and the Jordan Valley.

Give 'em a penny, and they'll take a pound, as the saying goes.

Modi'in is the site where Matithiyahu slayed a Hellenist/collaborator who was performing avodah zarah (foreign/forbidden woship).  He and his sons had to flee.  From hiding they launched a guerrilla war against the Selucid Greeks, and their Hellenist, puppet government, which led to the purification and re-dedication of the Beth HaMiqdash (Holy Temple), commemorated by the eight-day festival of Hanukkah..

Nearby, is Moshav Modi'in, often called "Reb Shlomo Carlebach's Moshav."

This only goes to show you that the Israeli Government cannot pick and choose Israel's borders.

They have already been chosen by The Almighty.  When the Israeli Government rebels against this fact, then The Almighty may allow them to be chosen by the Arabs,...for now.  (God forbid!)

True Modesty

The following is a comment for the Facebook wall, of anyone who shared the above image:

Physical modesty is probably one of Jewish women's most important mitzvah.  Thus The Yiddishe Cup applauds the posting of this picture.

However, it also is important to point out that there are plenty of women, who are completely covered according to halakha (Jewish law), and yet are not in the least bit modest.

Brainwashing by some of the seminaries is one force behind this problem, and the complete lack of consistency in the observance of this concept.  Emotional castration of their husbands in public, the hutzpah of arguing with their husbands in public about halakha, debating which minhaggim (customs) they should or should not keep (as if they had a choice) are all NON-Jewish behaviors.  This is not how a Bat-Yisra'el is supposed to act.

These behaviors all have their sources in galus.  This feminism, cleverly disgused by the "heksher" (certificate) from an emotionally castrated Seminary head, brow beaten into sticking his nose into a sefer where it belongs, and giving his wife whatever she wants. The days of being the educator of your wife is over,...until Mashi'ach comes to set us all straight במהרה בימינו!

The age of defacto female "rabbis," cleverly called by the heavily overused and misused term "Rebbetzin" are well under way.  (God help us!).  Your sharing of gemara with women does not help the situation.  When they have gotten all of their hovot (obligations) perfectly, THEN they can have the luxury of learning gemara.

The truth is that very few women these days can achieve this, due to their confusion of Western concepts and culture with Jewish concepts.  The few women on this high level do not feel the need to publicize it, due to their TRUE modesty. And so, we may never learn who these women are.

Is Anyone Really Surprised That Jewish Homes Were Destroyed On Shabbat?

מוצש"ק פר' ואתחנן תשע"ב
Police demolish a building in the Mitzpeh Avichai outpost on the Sabbath. ‘They’re adding insult to injury,’ residents say.

Maayana Miskin, August 4, 2012

Border police evicted Jews from the Mitzpeh Avichai outpost in the Hevron region on Saturday, residents of the area report.

The outpost has been destroyed and rebuilt dozens of times. Homes have sometimes been destroyed in the middle of the night, and on at least one occasion, residents say, an Arab demolition crew stole valuables. However, they said Saturday night, never before have police carried out a demolition on the Sabbath.

Resident Aryeh Davis accused the police of “adding insult to injury.” Davis, who has previously spoken to Arutz Sheva, said, “It’s not enough to destroy the land of Israel, they have to do it on the Sabbath, too.” (cont.)
(Tip Credit: Jews News)

C'mon!  Is anyone really surprised that Jewish homes were destroyed, and Jews were left homeless on Shabbath?

This was not the first time this occurred.  One of the first times the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] expelled Jews from their homes in Havath Gil'ad in the Shomron (Samaria), was on Shabbath, and with a falsified permit to do so from the IDF Chief Rabbinate.

Esser Agaroth forecasts that this evil strategy will be employed more in the future.

The Erev-Rav controlled government, its army, and its police force all know full well just how limited [real] Torah observant Jews are when it comes to defending their homes from destruction on Shabbath.

Or are they....

Stay tuned.

Beit El Gets New Land: Big Deal.

ט"ו לחודש תשע"ב
Tu b'Av 5772

IsraelNN.com: Beit El Gets New Land
The town of Beit El has new land added to its territory as part of the deal for the peaceful demolition of homes a month earlier.

Maayana Miskin, August 2, 2012

Preparing ground at Beit El base. Preparing ground at Beit El base. Arutz Sheva The Central District Commander signed Thursday on documents adding new land to the town of Beit El. The town, in the Binyamin region north of Jerusalem, now includes land previously used for a Border Police base.

The new land was promised several weeks ago in exchange for the peaceful eviction of families from several homes in the Ulpana neighborhood. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the families that if they agreed to leave, the government would allow hundreds of homes to be built in place of those that were demolished. Most of the new homes are to be built on the former base. (cont.)

So, Beth-El received some new land.

Big deal.

Whenever our lovely Israeli government ever gives up land, it sends a very powerful message to the Arabs, to exile-minded Jews, and to everyone else in the world.

The message is simply this, that Land of Israel is negotiable.

However, it is not.

The Land of Israel is not ours to sell, to give away, to chop up, or to raffle off to the highest bidder (ie. the Christians).

This is just another example of the Israeli government's desire to please the goyim, the so-called International Community, and ignore the wishes of its own citizens, let alone The Holy One, Blessed Be He.

Taking a piece of Land which the government already had firm possession of, to replace the loss, does not made up for the grave aveirah (Torah transgression).  Far from it.

And the icing on cake?
Some of those evicted refused to leave their homes despite the agreement between Beit El leaders and the government. Others remained optimistic despite the expulsion. A mental health expert found that children were traumatized in either case.
Duh.
